Prospective members should be aware that access to all swims apart from those on the West Bank (adjacent to the parking) require a boat for access, as it is a condition of our lease that we do not walk on the Thorpe Meadow golf course to reach them, whether to fish or pre-bait.
As stated in the rules, only solid boats and purpose-built fishing kayaks are allowed. Boats can either be trailered and launched on site, or can be moored on the island. Inflatable boats are only allowed to be used to access boats or swims on the island.
