Rob and Mark have had some successful and less successful mornings after pike from Rob’s boat.
The best morning saw eight boated, the best 17lb, but most mornings we’ve had a few. Just thought we’d share this picture with you. The pike are in absolutely superb nick, apart from the jacks, many of which have BIG bite marks on them.
In the new lease, we have official permission to use fishing kayaks. These must be properly adapted vessels, not just a repurposed river kayak.
Just to remind everyone, we are still not allowed to use the golf course to reach the spinney swims for baiting up. We may be able to resolve this by approaching the golf course and asking them to create a special membership, which will give them income and cover us for insurance.
